 | NewsM.M. Dillon & Co. Announces Three Senior Hires STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today M.M. Dillon & Co. announced the addition of three highly experienced industry participants: one as a senior adviser to the firm, and two new partners. Perry J. Lewis joins the firm as a Senior Advisory Director, Dr. David Gershon and Matthew Miller are each joining the firm as Partner and Managing Director. Mr. Lewis has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions and principal investing, as well as high level corporate governance. He was a Senior Advisory Director at CRT Capital Group from 2002 until 2006. Prior to joining CRT, Perry was a founding partner of Morgan Lewis Githens & Ahn, one of the first boutique investment banking firms specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategic planning, financial restructuring and leveraged buyouts. Before founding Morgan Lewis Githens & Ahn, Perry was with Smith Barney Harris Upham & Co. for 13 years as senior vice president and manager of their corporate finance department. He was also director of the firm's executive committee. Perry has served on more than 12 public boards of directors, including numerous charitable boards and various private equity funds. He is a graduate of Andover Academy and holds a bachelor's degree in English from Princeton University. Dr. Gershon will be the Head of European Healthcare Banking for M.M. Dillon & Co. and he will be based in Switzerland. Dr. Gershon is currently the Senior Partner of Gershon Capital & Cie and Gershon & Company, a leading Swiss healthcare investment and advisory firm (www.gershoncapital.com). Dr. Gershon has over 20 years experience as an oncologist-immunologist, clinical researcher, healthcare economist, and FDA healthcare regulatory attorney with expertise in drug and medical device approval processes, clinical research, and reimbursement for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthcare services. He is The Chairman of the National Institute for Healthcare Economics and Regulatory Policy, is a designated Standard & Poor's "Healthcare Industry Leader", Adjunct Professor of Healthcare Economics and Policy at Johns Hopkins University, Visiting Lecturer of Healthcare Finance and Drug Development at Harvard University and MIT Sloan Business School, Assistant Professor of Healthcare Economics and Finance at Columbia University, and a former Aspen Institute Senior Fellow and Chair of the Aspen Institute Business of Health Program. Matthew Miller will be based in Pittsburgh and he will be focused upon developing corporate transactions based upon his extensive operating and investment history. Prior to joining M.M. Dillon & Co. he was Co-founder and President/COO of Targe Energy, and prior to Targe he was a member of the Cerberus Capital Management Operational Advisory Group. In addition, Mr. Miller has been a significant participant in starting four companies over the past 20 years. He is currently a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business. Mr. Miller received his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
